Bryon, Bears, Dogs & Lady Lamb

Byron kept a dog and a bear in his Cambridge quarters. He claimed to have had sex with 200 different women on consecutive evenings. His mistress, Lady Caroline Lamb, famously described him in her diary as ‘mad, bad and dangerous to know’, an image he tried hard to live up to!
