What if I decide university isn’t for me? Part 2

posted in: Blog 0

It’s generally easier to go to university straight after school rather than going back to it years later when you have a job and a mortgage but that too is manageable. You do not have to make life or death decisions so please think about it, talk about it but don’t panic and stress about it. There is always an alternative.

University isn’t for everyone – it provides really useful life experience and skills which are valuable in the workplace but there’s nothing wrong with deciding that you want to leave. Just don’t do it lightly. Most people who think about leaving university stay on and are glad that they did. Some choose to leave. It’s an important decision so take your time and give it your best shot but it is not life or death so don’t over stress!
