I know some of you are finding it rather tough at University at the moment so I’ll share some well known Churchillian motivational comments with you. Churchill suffered from depression or ‘the black dog’ as he called it so he wasn’t ‘just’ fighting external battles:
‘When you’re going through Hell, keep going.’
‘It is a mistake to try to look too far ahead. The chain of destiny can only be grasped one link at a time.’
‘One ought never to turn one’s back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half.’
‘Kites rise highest against the wind, not with it.’
Have a good day guys 🙂
